The Central Bank of Ireland will issue tomorrow a new €20 gold coin that depicts one of the countries most famous medieval landmarks. The coin features the Rock of Cashel, the traditional seat of the kings of Munster.
The Irish Bank will only issue 10,000 pieces of this gold coin, which was designed by renowned artist Mary Gregoriy. Over the last couple of years the Central Bank of Ireland has been developing collectors coins that feature the country’s history. Last year they also produced a coin that honoured the Book of Kells.
From November 12th, you can purchase the €20 coin for €48 by visiting the Central Bank of Ireland website.
