I went Medieval for castles. My mom bought me a child’s castle book that broke down the many aspects of life in a Medieval castle when I was young. I spent my childhood roaming around the Lord’s residence and make believing I was a princess. What little girl didn’t want to be a princess?
Courtly love, dresses, horses, knights jousting for my honor, and the occasional wizard filled my thoughts. Even now, as an adult, I want to live there. They still fill my thoughts and my actions. I have since collected many other books (still have the castle one too!) and I still roam around my castle.
