You can now join our Book of the Month Club! We have partnered with Boydell & Brewer to offer our patrons books from their outstanding collection.
Boydell & Brewer is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and is one of the leading publishers in the field of medieval studies. They have published hundreds of books in the field, and each month we will be offering our patrons one of these from their collection.
When you sign up through our Patreon page, your payment gets deducted at the beginning of each month. Then we will send your shipping information to Boydell & Brewer who will send you the books.
This is only available to people in the US and UK (20 in each country). We hope to add more countries in the near future, so let us know if this is something you are interested in.
As an added bonus, we will also be hosting a Google Hangout chat each month, where we will discuss the book with our patrons.
Those that sign up now will get in September The Sutton Hoo Story, by Martin Carver. The October book will be The Bayeux Tapestry: New Interpretations, edited by Martin K. Foys, Karen Eileen Overbey and Dan Terkla.
The cost to be part of this Book of the Month Club is $35 (US) per month, half of which will cover the cost of the books and the other half will go to supporting Medievalists.net. We are really excited about this opportunity and we hope that you will support us (and build up your library at the same time).
