Little Tey church stands at the end of a dead-end lane close to a small duck pond. The church dates back to Norman times and inside there are some very interesting wall paintings that were a fairly recent discovery. It is unusual that the nave and chancel are joined as one size. © Copyright Robert Edwards and licensed for reuse under this Creative Commons Licence by Medievalists.net July 5, 2011Related PostsThe Uncovering And Conservation Of The Medieval Wall Paintings At St James The Less' Church, Little TeyMedieval Churches in England receive funding for repairsFish and Fishermen In English Medieval Church Wall PaintingsChurch receives £544,000 to restore medieval wallpaintingsChurch Wall Paintings and Mosaics: Principles of their arrangement and relationship to church architecture AdvertisementSubscribe to Medievalverse Email address First name Last name I consent to receiving your weekly newsletter via email.
