Dragons in Medieval Literature

Dragons in Medieval Literature

Lecture by Anne Berthelot

Given at Point Loma Nazarene University in 2019

Introduction: We are going to speak about dragons because dragons are among the creatures that figure in almost all fantasy books. I mean not having a dragon in a fantasy novel is really be lacking in consideration of the reader. So basically we have here two books on dragons – the first one is Dragons of Fantasy and it studies which is called dragon law 101 and dragon law 102, so it teaches you everything you want to know about how to write a dragon story or how to put a dragon in a novel.

Anne Berthelot is Professor of French and Francophone Studies at the University of Connecticut. Click here to view her university webpage.
