This Norman castle can be found along the Italian coast in the Calabria region. Built in the early 14th century by Charles, Duke of Calabria, it served as a defensive stronghold throughout the Middle Ages.
The architectural layout of the castle is a rectangular keep, flanked by two towers and linked together by large walls and battlements. Inside the castle you can find seven rooms, plus two more inside the watchtower. The property comes with about 1.5 hectares of land and an amazing private church where people all over the world come to get married.
The castle is also used as a bed and breakfast, a base for visitors to explore the town of Praia a Mare and other parts of southern Italy.
