Castell Gronw is a Cadw listed scheduled ancient monument which comprises a Motte and Bailey castle mound overlooking Lake Bala in Snowdonia, Wales. The Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales lists Castell Gronw as a medieval castle which dates back to approximately 1202.

In addition to Castell Gronw the grounds include a wooded area with stream, in all set in approx ¾ acre. It is situated in a superb location just a stone’s throw from the shores of Lake Bala, yet within just a few minutes walk of Bala town with all its amenities including leisure centre with swimming pool, quaint local shops, award-winning restaurants and numerous cosy and friendly pubs.
