Mmmmm….Medievalicious! Medieval Soups from Battle Castle

The good people at Battle Castle are offering their viewers three medieval soup recipes, just in time for Christmas. On their Battle Castle blog, Nicole Tomlinson posts about her experience dining at Poland’s Malbork Castle and meeting their current head chef at the castle, Bogdan Gałązka. Afterwards, she and her family members made three medieval soup recipes:

Cherry Soup

Lentil Soup

Mushroom Soup

The three three recipes are from The Cuisine of the Teutonic Grand Masters of Malbork Castle, by Bogdan Gatazka, Head Chef at the Gothic Cafe located in the castle. If you are interested in getting your own copy of these recipes, you can do so by:

Twitter: RT one of their @battlecastle soup tweets or hashtag #medievalsoup

Facebook: Visit their Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/battlecastle) and tag themselves in one of the three soup photos posted there.

Battle Castle is an upcoming television series that will explore six historic castles. Click here to learn more about this show.
